DHSC UK Vaccine Network Workshop: Future Direction and Funding for Vaccines with Outbreak Potential - 31st May 2023

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), through the UK Vaccine Network, are currently considering investment in development of vaccines and vaccine technologies for priority diseases of epidemic potential in low and middle income countries, to be delivered by Innovate UK.
Innovate UK will be hosting an online workshop on behalf of DHSC on 31st May 2023. This will include presentations from organisations that may be able to support in the successful delivery of a programme and its potential in low and middle income countries, whilst also offering attendees key opportunities to help build networks for future collaboration.
Why participate?
- This workshop will help delegates understand what a future call for proposals might look like and the probable requirements that applicants might be asked to address.
- DHSC are looking for their investment to result in projects that deliver to time, cost, quality, produce outputs that will have utility in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) and are technically robust to attract future funding from relevant government and non-government funding organisations. As a consequence DHSC will be looking at any future projects to have appropriate business and technical plans.
- Attend presentations from organisations that could support the successful delivery of a programme for vaccines and vaccine technologies. These will include:
- Guidance on working with relevant LMICs.
- Talks from organisations that can help develop pre-clinical and manufacturing capability.

Opportunity to network with speakers and participants to help delegates build teams to help the application and delivery of projects of work.
